Dear Selize,

To my own surprise I enjoy writing these. Never thought I'd ever enjoy writing on paper. I'm waiting for Toby here; I showed up early to get our table and to order. People have been glancing at me, but I suppose I do kind of look like a pretentious idiot like this. I hadn't thought about that before. I'm not sober now but I must have been too drunk to care the last couple of times. Can't believe I bring paper with me to a pub now.

Can't believe I forgot you were in Brazil. Feel like more of an idiot for that.

Arthur went back home. The freedom of having the place to myself didn't last, now the apartment just feels empty. I actually move soon as well. One of Toby's friends needs a roommate until December, so that's me sorted for a little while longer. It's on Manor Drive if you know it. It's also closer to where Mitch lives, for better or for worse.

I wonder how long they'll stay around in this city for. I wonder how long any of us will.

By the way, Roberto has now officially taken over from my dad. Has the business ownership and whatever now. It was bound to happen. It's not meant for me. It's not made for me. I don't know where I'll go after this but I'm not going back to Italy.

On a much better note, it was good to see you at Arthur's. I hope we can talk again.

I'll go act like a normal patron now. Preferably before Toby gets here.

Goodbye,

Marco
