Dear Selize,

Me and Mitch were waiting for Arthur at the Queen's Crown and went for a walk to pass the time. I rang your doorbell but I don't think you were home. We made it back some time ago; the two of them have gone to bet on pool now. I lost at darts already so I'm sitting it out. My tab won't be able to take another loss I fear. Besides, betting against Arthur at pool is only a good idea to me when I'm too drunk to think properly. I'm not there yet. Yet.

I don't know why I'm not sending you a voice note or anything, but this idea came into my head. A patron left some lined paper laying around on that weird artsy table they have in the corner. I found a pen elsewhere. Thought you might appreciate the old-timeyness of it all, I guess.

It's been ages since we talked. That's largely my fault. But I was busy and so were you. When was the last time? I remember you talking about your thesis topic. Were you at Ivy's birthday party maybe? I forget when that was. It was a good party though. How did your thesis progress? You must be nearly done. The deadlines are soon at least.

You're a harder worker than me. You must have finished it well before.

Anyways, I don't have much work left to do. Just have to run the last couple of errands to graduate. My apartment contract doesn't end until the beginning of September. I hope I can get a decent job by then, and I'll have to see where to go afterwards. I wonder how you're getting along. We should catch up sometime soon.

Mitch and Arthur are nearly done. Looks like Arthur won.

See you around,

Marco
